Having managed the fastest rollout of any broadband provider in the UK with Be* Un limited's ADSL2+ network in 2006, diversified the business by opening it up to wholesale and then migrated a failing call centre to a successful operation without dropping one call, Tom was the obvious helmsman to help steer Hyperoptic. Prior to joining Hyperoptic, Tom was Managing Director of Be*, having progressed rapidly from Project Manager after the O2 merger. Always hungry for involvement in the next-generation ISP, that opportunity came and he joined Hyperoptic in September 2010 to help roll-out the new online revolution.
Per-Gunnar has a great deal of experience and knowledge in managing sales organisations across multiple sectors and geographies over the last 25 years. One of the original Be team, he was a key driver in ensuring the company achieved its sales and products goals both before and after the O2 acquisition. At Hyperoptic, Per-Gunnar is responsible for the entire sales team both in terms of residential and business.
Steve has over a decade of experience marketing both B2B and B2C Internet solutions. Previously he was the Chief Marketing Officer at the UK2 Group, a global group of web hosting companies. Prior to that he oversaw the marketing operations at Rise Partners, was Chief Marketing Officer at Fasthosts Internet Ltd and was Director of Internet Services at Video Networks Ltd – which was later bought by Tiscali and then transformed into TalkTalk TV.
Ben is a seasoned and accomplished Chartered Accountant who was previously Finance Director at Rigby & Peller. There he ensured a fast, smooth acquisition of the company completing all finance, tax and legal due diligence. As a key part of Rigby & Peller's deal team and negotiation process, Ben led a business expansion programme to drive top-line growth and profitability. He shook up the incumbent systems and processes to deliver relevant management information and enable real decision-making. Ben's track record, and passion for cutting-edge technology, make him the ideal choice for Hyperoptic where he's been continuing to drive growth and profit since August 2011.

Renowned within the broadband property sector following his roles as Head of Propositions for BT Vision, Darren has a wealth of experience developing new products and services. Darren joined the Hyperoptic team back in 2013 and has recently taken responsibility for launching the Hyperoptic Business Broadband - driving awareness of the benefits of ultra-fast broadband to businesses, serviced apartments, hotels and student accommodation.
Sales Director, Property
David’s expertise derives from nearly 30 years in the property industry. Initially qualifying as a GP Surveyor, specialising in commercial agency and development, David has focused on the residential sector over the last 12 years advising a range of clients including Galliard and Ballymore on site acquisition and onward development and sales.
Heading up the Property Team at Hyperoptic since May 2013, David is responsible for driving awareness within the property sector; highlighting the importance of a true fibre infrastructure in both new builds and existing developments.
Sales Director, Field National
Tim qualified as a specialist telecoms surveyor at GVA Grimly in 2002 and went on to head the development team in Cushman & Wakefields Moscow office. He Joined Hyperoptic in 2013 from Jones Lang LaSalle and brought with him a wealth of development and telecoms experience. He has been responsible for building a number of strategic relationships and driving Hyperoptic's expansion in to the UK's key regional cities.
Sales Director, Field London
Philip joined Hyperoptic in late 2013. Bringing with him over ten years of international property experience working in both agency and development, Philip has an in-depth understanding of the property sector and the role technology plays in it. In his previous role Philip was a senior member of an international team and had the responsibility of managing global accounts of some of the largest companies in the world. In this role, Philip has a track record of delivering the largest and most complex deals in the industry.
