What is ‘Refer a friend’?
Refer a friend’ is Hyperoptic’s referral scheme, which allows our customers to refer a friend to Hyperoptic in order to receive £100 voucher to use at John Lewis, Amazon or Tesco. To become a referrer, visit My Account.
Rewards are vouchers worth up to £100 to use at John Lewis, Amazon or Tesco. To become a referrer, residential customers can visit My Account, and non customers can register here.

What if my friend doesn’t select ‘I was referred’ during the order process?
Unfortunately, if your friend does not use their unique code, which will be sent to them via email, during the order process, we are unable to track the order back to you, and it will not qualify for the referral reward. To qualify, your friend needs to use their unique code in the order form, then enter your email address as their registered referrer. That way, we can track the order back to you and you both get the reward.

How will I know if when somebody references my email when they order?
We will email you to let you know. We can only do this if your referred friend uses their unique code in the order form. This is how we track the referral back to you. As long as you’re both eligible to take part in the scheme, you’ll both get your referral reward after your friend’s Hyperoptic service has been active for 30 days, and within 90 days of activation.

What are my reward options?
Both referrers and new customers who have been introduced can receive the options below (provided you are eligible).

When will I receive my reward?
Once a referred friend has become a Hyperoptic customer and their Hyperoptic service has been active for 30 days, we’ll send both them and the person who referred them an invite to claim their rewards. The reward invitations will be sent within 90 days of the friend’s service being activated. Once an Amazon, John Lewis or Tesco reward has been claimed by the participant, the unique code entitling that participant to their reward will be delivered via email within 12 hours.
